The point of sale design brief
Genesis Retail Displays had been manufacturing various point of sale items for Valvoline which they were putting into retailers like Super Cheap Auto, Autobarn and Repco which in most cases were corrugated display stands for seasonal promotions.
Although their retail customers were asking them for something more permanent that could be on display in the store for a long time to showcase their range of oils but also help shoppers choose which product was right for them.
How we delivered this point of sale display solution
We presented three ideas;
- A free standing metal pos display that could promote selected products off location.
- An on-shelf product selection guide that could be added to their existing shelving.
- A metal pos shelving unit that could be installed into any retail store.
For this execution it would satisfy the need for a long term or permanent display created for retail stores, but also to make it easier to cope with the weight of the products which were mainly oil containers. It created some flexible solutions and designed to be durable with metal construction.
METAL POS DISPLAY IDEAS
